He makes way less noise on the pontoon than he did in the Aluminum boat, I think that has a lot to do with it. Plus I can be a lot more mobile on the pontoon so I cast for him a lot of the time and that gets the bait further from the Boat as well which usually helps. There are more advantages to the pontoon than I can list, I highly reccomend a pontoon to anyone who catfishes, great set-up for cats.
