Has anyone ever caught a white cat? We've caught blues, channels and bull heads. Just curious about white cats, guess we don't have them here.

Everything I've read they are still pretty rare in The U.S. and also very easy to mistake for a channel cat. They don't get large and there are still a bunch of states that don't have them. The additional problem is that in some states, the Blue cats are called white cats and so folks get even more confused about what an actual white cat is verses what might be called a white cat. That confusion is one of the reasons I went ahead and listed scientific names on the tournement rules, so we could sort out Blues abnd whites,

Alotta folks round here call small blues, whites. Most likely cuz small blues don't have that dark blue/grey color on em yet. Ya just gotta know folks talkin bout the same thing when they say they caught whites, hereabouts.
