Ok, the last few months, Dennis and I have come across a problem. Was wondering if anyone else has experienced it. When you make a post, then go to the top to click on home or new topics or whatever: the banner in front of it. You have to hit the back arrow instead. Just curious why that it happening. It's no big deal, but it is a lot simplier to hit home instead of the back arrow, then home

It's does that with me sometimes too. I thought ProBoards was having trouble with their server. But I'm not sure tho. It gets to be a pain to back track tho.

I dunno really. I haven't noticed any problem on any of the sites I frequent. I dunno if the browser I'm using has anything to do with it or not. I use Chrome. I could look an see what the rest of ya are using, but I'll just guess at Firefox or IE. ?? I also hit the back button outta habit, so I seldom ever look up unless I need to visit the Admin area. There's also that lil "Forum Jump" bar at the lower right hand corner of every page that will jump you to whatever page you need to go to. (another reason I don't look up) So what did Proboards tell ya when you complained about it, MC?? And they actually haven't upgraded for some time. They have made a few changes. They upgraded to version 4 in 2005 and upgraded to version 4.5 in 2008. They have made little adjustments along the way, tho. But they're BIG upgrade to "Version 5" hopefully will happen this summer. They've been testing it for bouta year now and workin the bugs outta it. As far as seeing if they're Server is is haywire, Go here >> www.proboards.com/server_status And it will tell ya what the server status is. Since I haven't had the same problem as you all, I not sure how to ask em bout it. It would help if you could get a "screen shot" of the page when it acts up. And how ya do that, I'm not sure. I hope Dennis or one of ya mite know what I'm talking about. I have seen them on the support site ask for a screen shot to help explain what a problem is. I think there mite be apps available with some browsers to do that. Thats just one of many things i have never had to deal with......yet. Disregard anything that doesn't answer a question in this post. I think I got it fixed.

Try it now and see what ya think. I think there was a conflict a goin on. Two banner codes on two headers. I know its kinda greek for ya. But I took the problem one off and stuck the one ya like on just the main page. It shouldn't show up on the individual pages to interfere with your posting activities.

I went back looking for what we were talking about to take a screen shot of it. But it's not doing it now. So I guess you fixed the problem. If shows again I'll take a screen shot and post it.
Thank you, olhillbilly

Only thing I ever have from the banner, is it's slow to load when I click on the link to bring me here. Then after the initial load, it always works fine. Meybe try reloading the page?
We'll see if anyone else has issues with it. Y'all visit here more than I do on the average.
