I went out to water the garden. Dennis came out and wanted to do it. We argued (in a fun way) because we both wanted to do it. He won!!! So I came in the house to clean up inside. He comes in and tells me to come outside. When he went to turn off the water, he found this. Yes it IS a rattler. Unfortunatly, it is a small one. That is bad news. I am going tomorrow to have the dogs vaccinated for snakes. I couldn't handle seeing them suffer if they got bit. And yes, he is a goner!!! He had 2 little buttons, but we didn't save them for ya Dave. ;D Actually, he is still in the bucket.

:DWatch what ya put on facebook. I put a pic of the snake on facebook. I wanted everyone who lives in the area to know they are on the prowl. We had two familes show up to show it to their kids to make the kids aware. Funny thing, both the mommas went to school with our daughter. We had a nice visit. When I told Kristen, she says," So my friends come to your house and visit, and I'm not even there? Did you make cookies or brownies for them like you always did when I friends came over" It really flattered me. A lot of our kids friends to this day call me mom. It makes me feel great to know they all of such warm memories of being here.
