3 Tbsp butter or margarine 1/2 cup chopped onion 3 cups diced, cooked chicken 16 oz stewed tomatoes cut up 2 1/2 cups chicken broth 3 cups okra 1/4 cup chopped parsley 2 Tbsp lemon juice 1 garlic clove chopped 1/8 tsp pepper 3 drops hot pepper sauce 1/4 cup uncooked regular rice
Melt margarine. Cook onion and chicken until onion is tender. Add remaining ingredients except rice. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
