On occasion, Dennis will break out in a horrible , itchy rash. Went to skin dr a couple years ago, and she prescribed meds. He thinks it is either the water at Kirby(when he wades in it) or it is a heat rash. It would be a lot easier to go back to the doc. But we have tried all kinds of cream. Any suggestions on what to do for a heat rash? It itches him somehting awful. Funny story. He is allergic to ivory soap. Purest soap there is, and it breaks him out.

We have people in Kentucky that are allergic to soap. Some in West by god too. If it is heat rash I use Noxema.

It's a little harsh for the first 15 minutes or so, but I use Gold Bond Triple medicated, and it never fails to cure what ails me when it comes to heat rash or anything similar. dave

Heat rash ?? That is a much nicer name than what it used to be called.. ;D I used to get it all the time. The best thing that I have found for it is nothing but some good ol quality baby oil. Was good friends with a guy which had 7 brothers and his Mother gave me the secrete of the baby oil.. The desatine (sp) for diaper rash will also take care of the problem.
