Years and years and years ago, I bought satin sheets. Swore I would never own another pair as they slide off the bed. Well, I have been kinda looking for new sheets. I came across some satin sheets marked down the other day. It was a very good price for king size sheets. So I thought, why not, maybe I was wrong before. I HATE them. You sit on the bed, and the cover slides around and the bed looks unmade. Even when the dogs get on it, it is all rumbled up. They are horrible. So I took them off. Told Dennis it's a good thing I sew. I can make something out of them. Don't know what yet, but that is a lot of fabric I can utilize somehow.

One thing I know you can't make out of them is a cotton shirt.

I hate most satin sheets, too, but I had a set once that was a little different and I loved them. They were some kind of slightly stretchy satin. They hugged the bed (fitted) and stayed on really well. Because they were a little stretchy, they seemed to 'hug' the covers put on top of them. I never have found another set like them, but sure wish I could.

make him a tarzan outfit[/quote] Well I now have a pair of briefs, and a belly shirt. I can hardly wait to see what is next. Does anyone know the proper way to install hot and cold water to my dawghouse. I am thinking that before long I will be spending more and more time in there.
