Wow, looks like ya'll got a lot of work ahead of you. Sorry about that. We had it rough here too. Wind blew 30-55 for most the night. We were lucky and didn't have any damage. But the dogs barked ALL night. I would have called it a blue norther, but it was more of a brown norther. It did indeed drop the temps quite a bit.

The winds here Wednesday night blew 60 plus mph during The storm then 45-50 the rest of the night. We were without power all night. Wayne turned the main box off outside so when we got it back on our home wouldn't catch fire due to damaged electrical wires until he got it checked out. The temp here Thursday never got out of the 50's the low here was 26 last night.
I thank God no one was killed or hurt durning all of this. Yes, the storm damage is a lot of work. I don't mind the work part at all. But I hate the fact it destroyed my bedroom and damaged the bathroom. But what upsets me the most (I know they are only material things) is all the memorial things we lost old church records starting in 1851, things that were my dads, father-in-laws, and other family members. All my children's school records, non replaceable family photos just to name a few. I set and cry every time I see something I can't get replaced. My dad and father-in-law have passed on so nothing from them will ever be replaced. I'm praying the flag that was on my father-in-laws casket and my grandfathers Army uniform can be cleaned at the cleaners so my husband & I don't lose them too. Like I said its only material things but you know how you'd feel about your memorial things.
20 years ago this pass June 18th our home was hit worse than this, it took 2 bedrooms and the bath. I thank God everyday it happen when it did because we would have lost our children if it had of been at night. It was their rooms that were destroyed. Thank you, God for protecting us durning the storm and keeping us safe.

That is really rough, our thoughts are with you. I thought it was mainly just the loss of the tree. Didn't realize you had so much damage to your house. My heart goes out to you. Maybe you can salvage a few of the memories out of the damage. A few years ago, our neighbors house burned down. It was really sad. We ended up buying the lots and finished the clean up. In the midst of all the rubble, I found a framed cross-stitch with one of the child's name, birthdate, etc on it (nobody was hurt in the fire, thank goodness) I got hold of the people, and gave it to them. She started crying, said her grandmother had done it for her son when he was born. Grandmother had passed. She was amazed that it showed up. It was a little scorched, but had glass on the front and was basically ok. Nobody could figure out how it survived the fire in basically good shape. But didn't mean to change the subject here. Just wanted you to have hope that you might find something really special in the rubble. We all love you and just really hurt for you.
