flu?

So is everyone staying well and avoiding the flu? The news keeps saying how bad it is. Both the bigger hospitals here are turning away people. They say they will only take serious patients and they are full up. That is scary.

I have had it since last Wednesday night. Missed work Thursday and Friday both. Went in last night but had to leave and come back home. Didn't make it home till I had some in my lap. Couldn't pull over quick enough to the side of the road. Knew that I still had a touch of fever but did feel much better than I had... Hospitals around here have been turning away people for a couple of weeks. Am going to try and go in again tonight.

my son called from Salt lake last night, he has the flu bad enough he had to go to urgent care and get an iv because he was getting dehydrated. havent talked to him yet today other than a text saying he was home.

Fever broke late Saturday night. Went back to work last night. Couldn't afford to loose another day of wages. Am much better. My temp was 102.1 when they sent me back home from work Saturday. I knew I had one but didn't think it was that high. It is going around very bad at work. Had 6 called off last night and there was 5 Saturday night. Sad thing about it all is that the employer says not to come to work when you are sick..Then they want to give you disciplinary when you do stay at home. Dr's statements are not accepted as an excuse for missing. Should be a labor law saying that disciplinary can not be given for being sick.
