The stomach bug is going around bad here. Dennis got it last night and today. He Never ever calls in sick. He had no choice today. It was weird, because I had to sub, so I went to work without him. At the end of the day, I ended up subbing for his class. So far (knock on wood) I have been lucky and not caught it. Usually I catch everything. But since I am subbing for all the sick ones, I am just hoping I stay lucky. They keep joking me that they can't spread me around enough. Just about all the teachers ask for me if they are out. There have actually been a couple of disagreements over who gets me. Good for my ego. But they all know that I am going to actually teach the class, grade their papers, etc. I like them to come back and not worry about catching up. And they know that and depend on me. There may be a couple aid jobs come open next year and a lot of the teachers are saying they want me hired on full time. That would be cool. Not many husbands want their wife to work at the same place with them. We are both hoping that if I do get hired, they will let me be the 5th grade aid, and I would work with him some. And he really wants that. I just think it is awesome that he wants me around all the time. We are coming up on 35 years this summer. And he hasn't got tired of me yet. ;D
