I get weather updates cause I signed Sinker up for alerts in TX. This is La Salle county. I know that ain't anywhere near ya. But least texas is getting some water. The lake here is bout 11 feet over normal. and the fishing still sucked last night.   ...Flood Warning extended until late Friday night...the Flood Warning continues for the Nueces River at Cotulla. |

That flood warning I posted is for Texas. Yeah, we're over eleven feet, but that ain't nuttin outta the ordinary. When they buil;t this dam, they said we'd only get over a certain level every hunnerd years. And other levels every 300 years. So far, about 2000 years has passed in the last thirty.  |

Cotulla is where I was raised. Right there on the Nueces River. ;D Know the place very well. Spent most Summers there and school time in Corpus. Is Sinker from around that area? |

No, Sinker is not from texas. He was just working down there. Now he's transferring to Ok. Closer to home and his grandkids.

Just surprised to see that place mentioned. Not much there but catus, rattlesnake, mesquite trees. Of course most of my family buried there for the past 150 years or so.

 Here it is again.. 15 straight days of this spam rain...Today there is wind gusts with it. Another 9 days of vacation time wasted because of rain...

Look on the upside MC it's only a few months until the rain will stop and the snow will start. At least we have water in the creeks even if it is too hot to go outside and do anything.
