Do you buy your minnows, or catch them yourself? We see a lot of people throwing nets for their bait. We are thinking about trying this out. Any hints? One of the lakes we fish has bait shops around it. The other one doesn't have bait shops anywhere near it.

I have a 10 ft cast net but have only used it a couple of times. A minnow trap works well if baited with dry dog food. You and Lymi may want to try a Seine in the creeks for bait. We also hook our on bait and buy goldfish or Israeli carp from the bait shop.
